Week 9 diary session: Mercy expressed her excitement about being a finalist.

She reveled why she put Angel and Venita up for possible eviction.

She regretted her actions and seek for advice on how to make amends with her friends.
Mercy to Biggie : Angel wanted me up but Pere saved me. He could’ve connived with Cross to put me up for eviction but he didn’t because of our friendship. We have become friends in the last few weeks and I wish I knew him earlier.
“I’m so happy to be a finalist. It’s God that did this for me, I’m so excited. It’s like a dream come true, cause I really wanted to be here for my birthday. It doesn’t even matter what happens next, I’m just so happy.”
“Sunday’s evictions really shocked me, especially for Whitemoney. I really felt for Sholzy. If I had the power to save anyone, I’d have saved Sholzy and he knows that.”
“It wasn’t easy for Cross before he gathered those coins. He worked hard for the immunity, so I’m happy he bought it. That was such a wise decision.”
She Continued:
“Angel found a man and her man is taking most of her time, which is ok.” She disclosed that it was because of Angel she had issues with Venita. Because she didn’t pardon Adekunle as pleaded by Venita. Mercy had told Angel not to tell Venita the truth hoping to do it at her own time but Angel revealed it to her behind my back and that initiated the problems between them.
Biggie – What did you tell Venita when she asked who you pardoned?
Mercy – I told her I pardoned Adekunle
Biggie – Was it just Angel that is to blame for what happened? I understand you might feel betrayed but during the pardon me please, when you told Frood to pardon Venita what did he say?
Mercy – He said he won’t because Venita refused to pardon him.
Biggie – Was Frodd part of your group?
Mercy – Yes Biggie!
Biggie- Can you now see why your friends will also feel betrayed?
Mercy – Yes Biggie! Because I was also part of it and not just Angel.
According to Mercy in her week 9 diary session, she admires Ilebaye’s resilience and strength to win HOH and she’s glad she won it and got to the finale. She’s rooting for Angel to be in the finale because both of them are good friends.
She said,
“I was the person that convinced Angel to come to the All Stars house. I should have left things to God and stuck with my decision not to ever nominate her or Venita. I am rooting for her to be in the finals as friends.”
Mercy – Biggie I need advice. How do I make up with my friend’s? I want to make amends and not fight because they are up for Eviction and fragile to talk to.
Biggie -Your alliance refused to pardon Adekunle because Venita didn’t pardon Frood, however you should have been honest with Venita because that was a valid reason. All you need to do is admit the role you played in the disintegration of your Friendship. However do not hesitate to call them out for not speaking to you.
Mercy – And I still put them up on Monday nominations.
Biggie – If Venita put you up at some point and Angel rallied around to nominate you and you also nominated them, all of you are on a level playing ground therefore reconciliation shouldn’t be difficult.
